Deep inside the mountain
the adventures hide themselves.
They are of all forms and shapes.
They all have an excellent ending,
because those that life their lives in adventure
see the world in an extra ordinary special way.
To attract the adventures into the patterns of habit
you only need to close your eyes
and ask them to embrace you.
You can also imagine that you are transparent
and feel the wind stream through you
instead of going against you.
Or imagine there are tiny little wings on your back
and every time you take a new step you bounce a bit.
Maybe life it self is one big adventure
if only you have the correct shades on.
This poem means to think about adventure differently, not a wild place but some where to live life and enjoy the free land. A lot of people like Chris McCandless enjoy the thrill of adventure, and like to feel free and let the wind carry him. Chris McCandless have experience many things in his life, throughout his adventure around the country Chris have been through many different states. McCandless enjoyed the first couple months in Alaska, as the poem states " because those that life their lives in adventure see the world in an extra ordinary special way ". That sentence describes Chris to the full extent. Chris have thought of the world as an amazing place to be and wanted to discover new things in life and want to be part of the wild.
Wild And Free!
Heart pounding in my chest,
snow flying up from my paws,
ears laid flat against my head,
tongue flapping from my mouth,
my frosty breath steaming the air,
cold, hard ground beneath me,
a round white moon rising behind me,
mountains looming all about me,
the shimmering aurora dancing above me,
starlight shining down on me,
freezing winds blowing about me,
howls sounding from deep inside me,
loyal pack-mates running beside me,
the whole of the North before me,
everything to do and all to see,
just us wolves being wild and free!
This poem is mainly a wolves point of view. It explain how it can make a person feel when there wild and free. It will make them feel like a wolf. Wondering around, go where it wants and be free. No rules. No worries. No responsibilities. Chris always wanted that feeling, not to care about nothing of where he will end up. Chris did not want to follow rules and mainly have no responsibilities and do not want to think about anyone or vise versa. When Chris was out in the wild he did not care about where he was going. His only plan was to make it to Alaska and feel whats its like to be free.
